The latest addition to the award winning Woodshed films’ portfolio may be “that” movie that pushes the pursuit of the unknown up on your priority list. 180 Degrees South is not only a trip into the unknown but a great lesson in the importance of building awareness and protecting one of the last great wildernesses left in the world, Patagonia.
Doug Tompkins and Yvon Choinard made a trip to Patagonia years ago and from that trip were born two companies (North Face and Patagonia). These men have since purchased over 2 million acres of land in Patagonia in an effort to protect it.
The film produced by well known surfer and documentary film maker Chris Malloy is an adventure film of an epic journey across oceans, through deserts and mountains. The film tour just started so you can be one of the first to see the movie which debuted in February at the Santa Barbara film festival.

This was a great film. Truly inspiring I recommend that you see it. I went in Seattle and plan to buy the DVD as well. Great movie, thanks for the informative service.
Very good movie with a great vibe. That old crusty Chouinard added so much dimension to it! Go, see, fun!
